最近和一個來信詢問課程的學生D，她想準備的是Maine的資格，很久以前我有學生也是拿Maine(緬因州)的CPA資格，但我實在忘了是哪一位，所以我們再度詢問了Maine Board of Accountancy, 也得到了他們的reply，老師摘錄部分內容說明，讓各位考生能做個參考:

1. Currently, exams need to be taken with an 18 month period.  We are currently considering a change to 30 months, which gives applicants more time in which to pass those exams.  
考試通過的有效期間將會延展到30個月，這不是緬因州特別nice(東部的州才不會特別friendly~🙄)，這將是2024年開始美國各州全方面的改變，但各位考生最好都check一下你申請的州別的官宣


2.Currently we do not have an expiration date when the exam scores will expire.  Each is reviewed as  needed.
目前緬因州針對考過CPA exam要進一步申請Maine CPA license， 並沒有期限規定。

3. You must e under the supervision of a licensed CPA for the 2 year period. We would need to see your supervisor’s license for the period of time to ensure that he/she was a licensed CPA. Since you are not within the US, that is the only way for us to verify the validity of your supervisor.
緬因州接受外國CPA的簽證工作證明(一般事務所工作經驗2年)，但還是要舉證其當地會計師執照的有效性。

只要牽涉到工作的證明，尤其是來自非美國會計師上司(non USCPA supervisors)的工作認證，這些文件如何證明，就老師輔導學生取得執照的15年來的經驗, 一來一往都不是太容易，會花上不少時間。

我請這位學生將Maine Board of Accountancy的email回覆完整內容都要留好，這是我們得到的官方回覆，比網友說什麼都好(你們這些"小朱"，是沒上過AUD, 的evidence嗎? Evidence from outside parties...., obtained by the auditor directly, better, better, better~😎)
